One at a Time is a 'not for profit' organisation, meaning that your donation goes directly towards the rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming of animals (and is tax deductible). Adoption fees are charged to help cover the basic expenses of rehoming, such as vet work, vaccinations, flea treatment, worming and fostering. However, we are often faced with distressing situations where animals, through no fault of their own, have high medical or rehabilitation needs and it is only via community donations that we can support and care for these animals.
