Spud is an absolute stunner with a sleek black coat and the most gorgeous hazel/yellow eyes.   

He’s nearly 5 months old and still full of kitten curiosity. Like his sister Ebony, his three most favourite toys are (in order)

  1. A screwed up piece of paper
  2. A clothes peg (which he will bat around the room, on and off, for hours)
  3. A piece of wool he found under a chair 

And, yes, he does have cat toys and he loves those as well! 

Spud is completely comfortable being picked up and cuddled.  He is confident and easy going, and loves company. 

He is also completely comfortable being picked up and cuddled, and actually, he wants you to!  He’s a super smoocher. The best home would be where there’s something to do and someone to hang out with (a human, another cat or even a friendly dog).

Or, would you prefer a pet that is outgoing or independent and that would slot perfectly into a busy home? It’s also important to consider the personality and temperament of any existing pets. How will they respond to a new addition to the family, and how will you manage the integration?

Housing and Council Regulations

The regulations for pet ownership differ between councils, this includes the requirement for registration, curfews for cats, and on/off leash walking for dogs. These are often easily found on each council website.

Costs associated with owning a pet

All OAAT pets are vaccinated, desexed and microchipped prior to adoption.   They will also be up to date with all worming and flea treatments.  This is all covered in the adoption fees (which generally range from $200 – $900 depending on the type and age of the animal).
